How to use this guide

Read Sections 1 to 3 first: what LeadBomb does, how credits work, and the rules for using scraped contact data. Sections 4 to 8 walk through each tool and how to get a clean list into your outreach software. LeadBomb updates its interface often, so exact button names may differ slightly from what you see.

Section 1

What LeadBomb Is (and What It Is Not)

LeadBomb is a lead finder. You tell it what kind of business or person you want to reach, and it pulls matching contacts from public sources across 15+ platforms into one list you can export.

Instead of paying for a static database of contacts that may be years old, LeadBomb searches live, public sources when you run a query: Google Maps listings, business websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Yelp, Shopify stores, Pinterest, X, Yellow Pages, The Knot, and more. You get a list of businesses or people with whatever contact details are publicly available, and you export it as a CSV.

The five core tools

ToolWhat it findsTypical use
Email searchBusiness emails for a keyword and location, across the platforms you select.“Dental clinics in Miami” for a B2B offer.

Social account hunterInstagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or X accounts that match a keyword or website.Influencer outreach, partner and competitor mapping.

Section 2

Plans, Credits, and Refunds

LeadBomb runs on monthly credits. The rule is simple: 1 credit = 1 email or 1 map result.

PlanMonthlyYearly (per month)CreditsAdds
Basic$17$142,000/monthAll sources, email verification, CSV export, priority support
Pro$37$305,000/monthEverything in Basic, plus AI query expansion and bulk search
Scale$97$78UnlimitedEverything in Pro, plus dedicated support; team seats announced

Yearly plans are billed up front but credits are added monthly. Prices were current in October 2026; check LeadBomb’s pricing for current offers.

Making credits last

Refunds: read this before you buy

LeadBomb’s refund window is short and strict. You can get a full refund within 7 days of your first purchase only if you have used less than 10% of your credits (fewer than 100 credits’ worth on Scale), requested by email to support@leadbomb.io from your account email.

After that, all sales are final, including renewals, top-ups, and unused credits, and refunds are not given for unhappiness with lead quality.

Tip: Test cheaply, then commit

Start on the monthly Basic plan. Run two or three small searches in your niche, export, and check the data quality (Section 7) within your first week. Only switch to yearly once you are sure it works for you.

Section 3

Before You Scrape: Rules You Must Follow

LeadBomb’s terms put full responsibility for how you use the data on you. A few rules keep you, your domain, and your reputation safe.

The laws LeadBomb’s terms name

LawWhereWhat it means for you
CAN-SPAMUSCommercial email needs an honest subject line, accurate sender details, your physical address, and a working opt-out honored within 10 business days.
TCPAUSCalls and texts, especially automated ones, often need prior consent. Do not cold-text numbers from a scraped list.
CCPA/CPRACaliforniaRules on collecting and using personal information of California residents.
GDPREU and EEAYou need a lawful basis to process personal data, even business contacts.
CASLCanadaCommercial email generally requires express or implied consent.

Practical guardrails

Watch out: This is not legal advice

LeadBomb’s terms state plainly that it is a search tool, not a legal adviser, and that you bear full responsibility for compliance. If you plan to contact people in Europe or Canada, or at high volume, talk to a professional first.

Section 5

Local Business Leads: Email Search and Google Maps

Local service businesses are LeadBomb’s strongest use case. Big B2B databases often miss them; Google Maps and directory listings do not.

Step by step

  1. Open the Email search or Google Maps tool.
  2. Select platforms. For local trades, start with Google Maps, then add Yelp, Facebook, and Yellow Pages for extra coverage.
  3. Enter a specific keyword (“emergency plumber”) and a location (“San Diego, CA”).
  4. On Pro, review the AI-suggested keywords and keep only the ones that fit your offer.
  5. Run the search and review the results: business name, website, phone, address, and email where one is public.
  6. Export to CSV.

Section 6

Social Tools: Followers, Account Hunter, and Viral Content

Beyond business emails, LeadBomb pulls data from social platforms. These tools are powerful, and they need the most judgment.

Social media followers scraper

Enter an Instagram, TikTok, or X account and LeadBomb pulls its public follower list, with optional email and contact enrichment. Each unique profile costs one credit.

Social account hunter

Type a keyword or paste a website domain, and LeadBomb surfaces related Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or X accounts, with AI enrichment for buying signals. Use it to build influencer lists, map competitors in a niche, or find the social accounts of businesses you already know.

Viral reels and shorts

Pull the top-performing Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts for a keyword. Videos are downloaded to your storage and creator handles are included. Use it to study which hooks and formats work in your niche and to find creators for partnerships.

Watch out: Research is fine; reposting is not

Downloaded videos are someone else’s copyrighted work. Use them for research and inspiration, not for reposting or ads, unless you have the creator’s permission.

Section 7

Cleaning, Verifying, and Exporting Your List

A scraped list is raw material. Ten minutes of cleanup protects your sending reputation and makes every email count.

A simple cleanup routine

  1. Remove obvious mismatches: businesses outside your area or niche, chains you do not serve, and duplicates.
  2. Separate generic and named emails (info@ vs jane@) so you can write slightly different openers.
  3. Verify before sending. LeadBomb says it checks emails, but its terms disclaim accuracy. Running the list through an email verifier (or an outreach tool with built-in verification) before your first send is cheap insurance against bounces.
  4. Remove anyone who has opted out of your emails before, across all your lists.
  5. Add a personalization column if you can: a city, a service, a recent post. Even one detail helps replies.

Tip: Let AI do the tedious part

Paste a sample of your CSV into Claude or ChatGPT and ask it to flag rows that do not match your target, standardize business names, and split generic from named emails. Check the output before using it.

Getting the CSV into your outreach tool

LeadBomb exports plain CSV files that load into Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, HubSpot, or any tool that accepts a contact list. When importing, map the columns (email, first name, company, city, website) and send yourself a test email to make sure personalization fields fill in correctly.

Tip: A natural pairing: LeadBomb plus Squibb

Squibb is a cold email platform with sending infrastructure built in, so you do not have to buy domains or warm up inboxes. Uploading a CSV to Squibb costs no Squibb credits, and Squibb checks every address before sending. Find leads cheaply in LeadBomb, then send through Squibb. Read the free Getting Started with Squibb guide.

Section 8

From List to Replies: Outreach Basics

LeadBomb’s job ends at the CSV. These basics decide whether the list turns into customers.

Section 9

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Most wasted credits and burned domains come from the same few mistakes.

MistakeBetter approach
Running a huge, broad search on day oneStart with one niche and one city; check quality before scaling.
Buying the yearly plan before testingTest on monthly within the 7-day refund window first.
Sending to unverified emailsVerify before the first send to protect your domain.
Treating follower lists as B2B leadsFilter for businesses and creators; avoid emailing consumers.
Using scraped phone numbers for cold textsTexting usually requires consent under the TCPA; do not do it.
Reposting downloaded viral videosUse them for research only unless you have permission.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions people ask most.

Where does LeadBomb’s data come from?

Publicly available sources, according to its terms: search engine results, mapping and directory listings, and public social profiles. It says it does not scrape behind logins or paywalls.

How is LeadBomb different from Apollo or ZoomInfo?

Those tools sell access to a pre-built database. LeadBomb searches live public sources when you run a query, which tends to be fresher and better for small local businesses that big databases miss.

What does a credit buy?

One email or one map result. Follower scraping counts unique profiles only.

Can I get a refund?

Within 7 days of your first purchase if you have used less than 10% of your credits. After that, sales are final.

Does LeadBomb send emails?

No. Export a CSV and send with an outreach tool such as Squibb, Instantly, or Smartlead.

Are the emails verified?

LeadBomb’s marketing describes verification, but its terms do not guarantee accuracy. Verify before sending.

Is scraping legal?

Collecting public business information is common, but how you use it is regulated (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, CASL, CCPA). See Section 3, and get legal advice for anything beyond simple B2B email in the US.

Which plan should I choose?

Start with Basic monthly to test. Pro adds AI query expansion and bulk search; Scale is unlimited for high-volume teams.
